Online Marketing Specialist at First Calgary Savings & Credit Union

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Online Marketing Specialist develops and manages content and functionality for the corporate web sites. This includes researching, recommending and implementing new web marketing tools and new features and applications on corporate web sites. In addition he/she fosters and manages social networking and optimizes online media channels and programs while maintaining and re-enforcing brand standards. Responsibilities of the role include: Website strategy; development and approval of site content; enhancements to site design and usability; analysis of site traffic and online advertising effectiveness; evaluation of web trends; research, development and execution of e-mail marketing, online advertising, and ad-words; promotion of mobile banking applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 Years Marketing Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
• Web-based certification/training an asset
• Experience with external agency and graphic design an asset
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Web content and writing experience necessary
• Proven multitasking, communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient with latest web trends, Microsoft Office Suite, web analytics tools
• Familiarity and experience with online marketing social media, viral marketing and consumer-driven content
• Experience defining web architecture, layout, functionality and navigation will be considered an asset.
