Job Description:
Zoom in Calgary has an immediate need for a Web Designer. The Web Designer is responsible for designing graphics, website comps and creating functional HTML based websites using CSS.
Requirements:
Strong design portfolio with three or more years of experience in web design
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite in a PC environment.
Highly proficient in constructing W3C compliant HTML & CSS web layouts from Photoshop.
Familiarity with content management systems
Well-rounded understanding of SEO techniques
Cross browser-testing experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well within a team
Good attention to detail
Willingness to learn new things
Nice to Have:
Web video experience
Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, Flash
Open source CMS knowledge
Writing skills
